One of our favorite things to sell at the Craft Gallery are the Art and Peace Poles.

They are designed by Stephanie Burgess who lives in Bellingham, Washington with a young daughter named Izze who she calls ” her Rock Star”. Izze helps her by drawing images that Stephanie has a tough time doing, like animals.
The virtues of family, home, peace and community are at the heart of the Painted Peace collection. With her unique style and bold color palette, Stephanie turns functional garden items into beautiful and inspirational works of art. Each piece makes a playful and profound statement, reminding us that happiness really does begin at home.
The original art for the Peace Poles are hand painted and wood burned, both rich in color and message. The art is then laminated onto lightweight PVC . This process produces art that is long-lasting, maintenance free and fade resistant. The Poles are very easy to install as they come with all the hardware you need to place into your garden.
The World Peace Society inspires a world united in peace by asking people to participate by displaying a peace pole in your community, school or garden. Stephanie designed a special Peace Pole with the message ” May Peace Prevail on Earth ” in the languages of the world. It is estimated that more than 200,000 Peace poles of various design have been dedicated worldwide, in nearly every country on Earth.
The Craft Gallery has just recently received some new poles. . . . .
Our Birdhouse Pole was so popular we were pleased to get in a new design.
We also have two of the smallest sized poles ( 20 inches high ) available as pet memorials, one for a cat and one for a dog.
Visit our website to view all the Art/Peace Poles we have for you to consider.
